Two militants killed in Macchil: Army

Srinagar: Army on Wednesday claimed to have killed two militants near Line of Control in Macchil sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A spokesman of Indian army in a statement here said that two unknown militants were killed early Wednesday morning.
Even as the spokesman also claimed recovery of two AK-47 rifles, a UBGL and “war like stores” stores, there was no elaboration in the statement issued about how the contact with the militants was established. However, the spokesman said that “operation” was still going on in the area.
