Ex-banker Tafazal Hussain quits Congress

SRINAGAR: Tafazal Hussain, former executive president of the J & K Bank, who had been associated with state Congress since October last year has quit the party, reports said Monday.
In a communication addressed to Saif-ud-Din Soz, president state Congress, Hussain has said that he is not interested in politics nor having any ambition, as such. He wants to contribute towards social and developmental cause as an independent columnist and as a professional, local news agency KNS said.
Hussain in his brief association with the party had prepared a concept document of “local ownership model” of Public-Private Partnership in health sector, among other propositions involving public aware.
