Srinagar: Thanking people for observing a shutdown on Sunday, senior leader of Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir Shabir Ahmad Shah and Muslim Conference chairman Shabir Ahmad Dar have paid tributes to the July 13, 1931 martyrs.
In a statement Shah said, “The mission of these martyrs is incomplete until the people of Kashmir achieve their birth-right of self-determination.”
Expressing gratitude to the people of Kashmir for observing shutdown on July 13, Shah said, “The pro-India politicians continue to make sell-out of the precious sacrifices of martyrs while the pro-freedom people of Kashmir continue their resistance movement against the illegal occupation of India.”
MC chairman Dar said, “These great men showed us the way to fight the oppressors. We will always draw courage and inspiration from the supreme sacrifices of these legends.”
Dar said the real challenge for international community is to address the oldest, unresolved Kashmir conflict on their agenda.
