Srinagar: Army organised a free medical and veterinary camp in Kupwara district on Wednesday.
The camp was held in village Awra and its surrounding areas of the border district, according to an army spokesman.
A joint medical team of five Army doctors including two lady medical officers and one dentist and two civil doctors from the department of medicine examined the patients during the camp, the spokesman said.
“Army provided career guidance to the youth through ‘Youth Employment Guidance Node’. The youth were also educated and motivated to join Indian Army as an officer as well as a ‘jawan’. They were informed about the forthcoming recruitment rallies scheduled in the area,” the spokesperson added.
