Police books woman for ‘false’ charges against DHSK

Srinagar: Police has filed a case against a woman for providing false information in the alleged case of molestation against Director Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) and his three colleagues.
A senior police official said they have booked the woman under Section 182 RPC for filing “false” charges against the DHSK Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman.
The woman had filed complaint against Dr Saleem and three other doctors for allegedly molesting her during working hours. In the case, 13 witnesses including the complainant had deposed to submit their statements. The police had also taken the help of CCTV footage of DHSK office and submitted before the court that no substance was found in the allegations of the complainant.
Earlier, an in-house probe conducted by Commissioner Health and Medical Education Gazanfar Hussain had exonerated Dr Saleem and the three other officials.
