Srinagar: Various political organisations Sunday expressed grief over the demise of wife of United Jihad Council chairman and Hizbul Mujahideen’s chief Syed Salahuddin who passed away on late Saturday.
Expressing profound grief over the demise of Salahuddin’s wife, Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement also prayed for patience to the bereaved family members at this time of grief.
The detained chairman of JKLF Mohammad Yasin Malik while expressing grief over the demise of Salahuddin’s wife said, “The departed soul and her entire family’s sacrifices for the freedom movement will always be remembered and admired.”
Hurriyat Conference (JK) leader, Shabir Ahmad Shah while offering condolence with the bereaved family prayed for the heavenly abode of the deceased and also for their strength to bear the irreparable loss.
National Front chairman Nayeem Khan also condoled the death of UJC chief. Khan said the deceased lady faced every difficulty with patience and kept the torch of steadfastness alight.
Meanwhile, Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat participated in the funeral prayers of the deceased and expressed sympathy with the family members.
