JKLF condemns ‘forces excesses’

SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Thursday condemned the ‘forces excesses’ committed on people in Seelu, Brath Zainageer areas of Sopore.
In a statement, a spokesperson of the party said that a delegation from Seelu, Brath Zainageer told them that the troops camp at Seelo Sopore is “committing repression and atrocities” and it reminds people the era of Ikhwanis.
“Four persons of a Brath Zaingeer, Irfan Ahmad Malik, Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir, Parvaiz Ahmad Mir and Abdul Aziz Mir were arrested by the troops of the same camp.”
Meanwhile, a JKLF delegation led by deputy chief organizer Mir Siraj-ud-Din visited Sopore and condoled the death of Arshid Ahmed Shah who was shot dead by government forces last Monday.
The delegation paid tributes to the killed youth and expressed their heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the bereaved family. Delegation also conveyed the condolence message of jailed JKLF chairman to the family.
The delegation included Zonal deputy general secretary Farooq Ahmad Dar, deputy district president Altaf Ahmad Gujri, Ghulam Qadir Khan and Molvi Reyaz.
