PL chairman visits Tral, pays tributes to slain militants

Srinagar: Senior Hurriyat (M) leader and People’s League chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza Sunday visited Darsora,  Larigam and Rathsona areas of Tral Pulwama and paid glowing tributes to three slain Hizbul Mujahideen militants.
Waza said that the people of Kashmir were expecting a change in new Delhi’s Kashmir policy “but unfortunately new government also continued its stagnant and rigid policy which can prove disastrous to whole south Asian region.”
“It is the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue that can established peace and stability in the region while as will ensure prosperity of the South Asian countries,” Waza said,  adding world powers must interfere at this stage when Pakistan has shown seriousness resolving the dispute according to the wishes of Kashmiri people. He blamed world community for maintaining a criminal silence over the human rights violations including civilian killings.
