SRINAGAR: A police-public meet was Thursday held at Sangerwani area of Pulwama district. The meet was chaired by SP Pulwama Tejinder Singh.
“Large number of people from different walks of life attended the meeting. The participants highlighted the various grievances including shortage of drinking water, poor connectivity of roads, lack of doctors in the Dispensaries and establishment of police post at Abhama village etc,” a police handout said.
SDPO Pulwama, SHO Rajpora and other police officers and official also attended the meeting, the handout added.
Meanwhile, continuing its “Police Raising Week” celebrations, Baramulla Police on Thursday organized a seminar on drug abuse at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Baramulla. The seminar was chaired by SP Baramulla Suhail Munnawar Mir.
