Stop chasing govt jobs: Mirwaiz to youth

Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference(G) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Tuesday urged youth not to “waste their time” by chasing government jobs and instead utilize their talent and skill in the private sector.
“Private enterprises and businesses guarantee the progress of the society and nation,” Mirwaiz said while inaugurating a book store– ‘Lord Book Centre’– at Ganderbal in central Kashmir.
“Our youth are bestowed with talent, crafts and skill and they should try their hand at private sector since more and more educated youth are graduating leading to shrinking of space in government sector,” Mirwaiz said,
“If lakhs of non-local people can find work in Kashmir, why can’t a common Kashmiri?” Mirwaiz asked.
