Srinagar: On the 26th session of United Nations Human Rights Council, chairman of the National Front, Nayeem Khan addressed delegates and he highlighted the plight of Kashmiris.
Khan addressed delegates via Skype from Srinagar. “Outsiders see Kashmir as a territorial dispute between two neighbouring states, but no one understands that the Kashmiri struggle is about people’s right to self-determination,” Khan, according to a statement, told the delegates.
Khan appealed to the international community to compel New Delhi to uphold the human rights of people as promised by India at UN.
World Muslim Congress had organised this event.
