SHOPIAN: The fourth District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting of District Shopian was held here on Wednesday.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Bashir Ahmad Bhat, while it was attended by AGM RBI and APM NABARD, concerned District officers and representatives of Banks.
It was stated that the total credit outstanding of all the Banks as on March 31, 2014 stood at Rs 684.59 crore, out of which Rs 587.46 crore are in Priority Sector against deposits of the district, which stood at Rs 594.25 crore as such taking CD ratio to 115.20 percent. Against the financial target of Rs 325.38 crore and physical target of 21830 beneficiaries under Priority Sector, the banks have disbursed Rs 246.86 crore to 13114 beneficiaries during the last fiscal, achieving financial targets by 75.78 percent and physical targets by 60.07 percent.
In Agriculture Sector, banks in the district have disbursed Rs 224.57 crore to 11567 beneficiaries against the annual targets of Rs 274.61 crore covering 18960 beneficiaries with 81.78 percent achievement. With regard to the annual credit plan, J&K Bank’s achievement during the last fiscal has been 88.57 percent in financial terms and 67.45 percent in physical terms.
State Bank of India has achieved 79.60 percent of its annual targets in financial terms and 54.27 percent in physical terms.
Punjab National Bank met 19.82 percent of its annual financial targets and 40 percent of its physical targets.
The Central Cooperative Bank Anantnag has achieved 98.34 percent and 78.58 percent of its financial and financial targets respectively.
The District Development Commissioner stressed upon the bankers and Government departments to expedite the sponsoring of cases during the financial year 2014-15 and to achieve the targets fixed for the fiscal quickly.
