Case registered in Warsun incident

Srinagar: Police has registered a case in the death of two persons due to the overturning of  a police vehicle in Kupwara district of north  Kashmir yesterday.
“A police vehicle overturned in village Warsun in Kupwara district last night, resulting in injuries to a few persons,” a police spokesman said.
He said two of the injured persons succumbed to injuries while being taken to a hospital.
According to reports, two persons died and several others were injured when a police vehicle overturned during a clash between the followers of the Peoples Democratic Party and the Peoples Conference  on Friday evening.
The deceased have been identified as Abdul Rashid Bajad and Abdul Rashid Ganaie.
The spokesman said the police party had gone to the village following reports of clashes between two groups over a land dispute.
