SRINAGAR: HDFC Bank on Wednesday organized a free health camp at its Channapora branch in Srinagar.
A statement issued here by the bank said the branch witnessed a rush of patients throughout the day and more than 500 people got benefitted from this initiative of the bank.
The statement said that free medicines were also distributed to the patients. People in general and customers in particular appreciated the gesture of the bank, it said.
While speaking on the occasion Zubair Iqbal, Vice President and Circle Head, J&K said that they had been contributing to CSR initiatives in the state since last 3 years and will continue to do so.
“Our aim is that common masses and society at large gets benefitted. Our Bank is known for its empowerment and awareness through CSR activities,” it said while quoting Iqbal.
HDFC Bank was recently recognized by Guinness World Records as the organizer of the largest single day blood donation drive across country with 61902 participants.
