Bodies of drowned boys fished out

Srinagar: The marine commandos (MARCOS) of Indian Navy Sunday fished out the bodies of two teenage boys who drowned in a stream here yesterday.
“The bodies of both teenage boys drowned in Hokersar Nallah in Narbal area were fished out by police with the help of MARCOS divers of Indian navy,” a police spokesman said.
Police with the assistance of MARCOS launched a search operation after two boys Shariq Nabi Bhat and Irfan Syed got drowned in Nallah Hokersar.
Locals hailed the efforts made by the police and the MARCOS divers for the search operations, the spokesman said.
Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, A G Mir also expressed his gratitude and appreciated the MARCOS for their hard work in recovering the bodies, the spokesman said.
