Hattrick School celebrates Mother’s Day

SRINAGAR: The Hattrick Public School on Saturday celebrated Mother’s day in the school campus here at Zakura here.
The event was attended by Chairman Chowdary Group, Chowdary Mohammad Showket, principal of the school, Siraj-ud-Din Bhat, academic administrator, Syed Asma Hamid, Rifat Showket, other faculty members and students of the school, while Suhail Ahmad Khan was guest of honour at the occasion.
While anchoring the program, Nida Zahoor said that no language can express the power and beauty of a mother’s love, which is infinite, limitless and vast.
“The Almighty Allah has exemplified His love for the humanity by descending mother as an example. Mother is truly the embodiment of Almighty on earth,” she said.
Speaking the occasion, principal of the school, Prof Bhat said Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring mothers and motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.
In his speech, Chowdary Showkat highlighted the importance of a mother and said that there is no give and take between a child and mother while in all other cases there is give and take.
“The mother doesn’t take anything in return from her children for bringing them up. That is why the Paradise lies under her feet and serving mother is the key to the Heaven,” he said.
The academic administrator presented vote of thanks and appreciated efforts of the faculty members to make preparations to celebrate this event in one and a half day.
Besides presenting various programs, the students also prepared and presented beautifully decorated ‘greeting cards’ to greet their mothers.
