TYNDALE-BISCOE SCHOOL ANNUAL ATHLETICS MEET: 2577 students participated in 9 KM run

Srinagar: Tyndale-Biscoe Boys Higher Secondary School, Sheikh Bagh Friday organized Annual Cross Country Run.
The race started from school campus to Shankaracharya hill before returning back to the start point to complete the 9 KM run.
The race was flagged off by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Shailendra Kumar who was the Chief guest.
According to the school statement, over 2577 students and 200 staff from class Nursery to class XII participated in the race.
Principal and Director Parwez Samuel Kaul was overall in-charge of the event.
Muhammad Skiyan (1st Red) and Mohammsd Aman Mir (2nd Red) stood first in the lower primary Department. Faizan Wani (5th Kolohoi) and Hadi Ahmed Shiekh (4 Kolohoi) stood first in Junior Department.
Nauman Nasir (7th Tattakoti) pocketed first spot in the Middle Department.
Mehrem Kapra (10 Tattakoti) won the Senior Department race and from 10+2 Department Ameer Ajaz 12A-(Tattakoti),
Raja Ubaid 12A(Kolohoi) and Wajahat Mir 12C (Tattakoti) got first positions.
The Divisional Commissioner encouraged the students and staff to provide anopportunity for overall development of the children by adding sports totheir curriculum as it helps in building strong character, discipline andprepares the generation next to face the world of Challenges and demands.
