Srinagar: A massive search operation has been launched by police to trace a three-year-old boy, who has been missing since May 6, from Khanyar area of this summer capital city.
A police spokesperson said Friday that Fahim Asgar has been missing since May 6 from his residence at Nowpora in Srinagar.
The footwear of the boy was found on the bank of a nearby canal, he said, adding that Srinagar police has called in the services of River police in canal to trace the boy.
All police stations of Jammu and Kashmir have been flashed details of the missing boy and searches have been launched at all entry and exit points in the valley and Jammu, he said.
He said numerous search teams have been constituted, who are checking the hotels and tenants in and around Srinagar to trace the boy.
