Rajasthan consultants’ help sought for restoring Mubarak Mandi Complex

JAMMU: Experts and consultants from Rajasthan would be involved in restoration work of Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex, thus making the work more specialized as well as fast.
A team comprising of Executive and Technical Committee members of the Mubarak Mandi Jammu Heritage Society, visited Rajasthan to interact with the consultants and executing agencies engaged in such kind of restoration work at Rajasthan.
The members had a series of discussions with various agencies in Rajasthan that are involved in restoration of various forts and places there.
The team said that few of the agencies will be coming soon to Jammu, giving their expert advice, besides displaying their talent in restoration of some part of the Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex. The team that visited Rajashtan comprising of Executive and Technical Committee Members Prof Lalit Magotra, N S Jamwal, Executive Director, Soujanya Sharma and Ashok Tandon, Assistant Director Tourism, maintenance and works division who had a series of meeting with the agencies as well as government officers in Rajashtan.
The Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture, Government of Rajasthan, Kiran Soni Gupta and Chairman Heritage Society, Omkar Singh Lkhawat apprised the members about the restoration work being carried out at heritage places like Amer fort in Jaipur, Amarpal temple in Ajmer and few other heritage buildings.
The members feel that with the involvement of these agencies, it is expected that utilization of funds would also be carried in a time bound manner.
