Baramulla shuts down to mark 6th anniversary of 2 Hizb commanders

Baramulla: A complete shutdown was observed in the main town of this north Kashmir district on Wednesday to mark the sixth death anniversary of two Hizbul Mujahideen commanders.
Shops and other private business establishments and government offices remained closed to mark the anniversaries of Imtiyaz Ahmad Zargar and Tanveer Ahmad Khan who were killed in an encounter with army’s 46 RR in Khawajabagh area on April 23, 2008.
Authorities had deployed police and CRPF men in strength at several places even as some youth pelted stones at the forces near Khanpora bridge and Gulnar park bridge.
