Statement of RK Singh has exposed ‘so-called’ rulers: JI

Srinagar: “The statement of India’s former Home Secretary, R K Singh has once again exposed the dubious policies of so-called local rulers who have always exploited Kashmiri people for their petty interests. They have always certified all the orders from their masters in New Delhi so as to stick to power in the state,” Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu Kashmir said Tuesday.
“Be it unauthorized accession of state in 1947, Delhi Agreement of 1952, extension of Indian Constitution, 1975 Accord, hanging of Shaheed Maqbool Bhat, secret execution of Shaheed Afzal Guru, genocide of Kashmiri Muslims at the hands of government sponsored gunmen, conduct of so-called elections on gun point in 1996, clandestine sale of state’s natural resources or illegal sanctioning of power projects to NHPC, the so-called rulers have left no stone unturned to exploit and deceive the innocent Kashmiri people on all accounts,” a Jama’at spokesman said in a statement.
