JKLF’s poll boycott campaign continues

Srinagar: Leaders and activists of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) visited several areas in Srinagar, Budgam and Tangmarg Tuesday as part of the pro-independence group’s poll boycott campaign.
“JKLF leaders and activists including Mir Siraj ud Din,Sheikh Khalid, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, Professor Javed, Bashir Ahmad Rather and Ghulam Rasool Hazari visited Buchpora and other areas in Srinagar while as Ashraf bin Salam,Gulzar Ahmad Pahalwan, Molvi Abdul Rashid and others visited Budgam and apprised people about the importance of election boycott,” a statement issued here said.
“Similarly in Tangmarg and its adjoining areas, leaders and activists of JKLF distributed written material about the elections and met people individually and collectively,” the statement said.
