SRINAGAR: Chinese tech giant and world’s No. 1 PC maker, Lenovo, which entered the smartphone market a year ago and has become the 4t h smartphone brand after Apple and Samsung, Saturday held a promotional event and dealer meet here on Saturday.
“Already having made a successful mark in the top metros across India, Lenovo has very strong plans to expand into tier 2 and tier 3 markets where in Srinagar has been one of the focus cities to promote Lenovo smartphones and today’s event was in that connection,” a spokesperson of the company said here.
He said India is a very important and biggest market after China and Lenovo is committed to grabbing a dominant share in India.
“Lenovo entered the India market last year and is already being recognized as a serious and committed player. Lenovo is committed towards providing the consumers a great value proposition by launching a strong product portfolio starting from Rs 4000 to 40000 price bracket and serving the needs of all consumers,” the spokesperson said.
Lenovo has recently signed up with Ranbir Kapoor as their brand ambassador for their entire range of smartphones As part of this association Ranbir will endorse range of Lenovo smartphones and will feature in various television and online commercials for the brand in India . This partnership will expand Lenovo’s reach into the consumer space and enhance the preference for its Smartphones in India .
