European academics interact with CUK faculty, students

Srinagar: A team of academics from the University of Poland and Norway on Wednesday interacted with the faculty and students of Central University of Kashmir’s Department of Education at Zainakote academic block.
The team comprising Prof. Maria Walczak, Director Institute of Pedagogy, Szecin University Poland; Dr. Elzbieta Perzyka, International Coordinator SIT Project, Poland; Aneta Makowska, Research Officer Poland; Raffaele Tumino; Stefano Polenta; and local coordinator, Prof M H Zaffar, is conducting a study entitled “Stimulators and Inhibitors of Culture of Trust in Educational Interaction Assisted by Modern Information and Communication Technology.” The project is being sponsored by the European Union.
The experts held threadbare discussions with the CUK in-charge Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Meraj-ud-Din Mir, Dean School of Education, Prof. N A Nadeem, Dean School of Management Studies, Dr. Abdul Gani, Dean School of Social Science, Prof. G M Bhat, Head of Department, Tourism Management, Prof S Fayyaz, Librarian, Reyaz Rufai, Dean, Faculty of Education University of Kashmir Prof Nighat Basu and Principal Government College of Education, M A Road, Prof. Parveen Pandit. The team members also interacted with the students and received their feedback on the research project.
Earlier, Prof. Meraj-ud-Din briefed the guests about the CUK functioning and the programmes offered by the varsity. The Vice-Chancellor also shared the plans of the University with the experts.
