Hattrick Public School Cross Country Run

SRINAGAR: Hamid Shafi of Grade IV emerged as the winner of Cross Country Run organized by Hattrick Public School, Srinagar.
Acording to the press release issued by the school, the 0.5 KM run started from Zain-ul-Abidin Gate of Kashmir University with Duck Park being chosen as finishing line.
The race was flagged off by Chairman Chowdary Group, that own the school, Mohammad Showkat Chowdary with Principal Siraj-ud-Din Bhat and Academic Administrator Syed Asma Hamid besides school faculty and a decent audience in attendance to watch the event.
Hamid took just 8 minutes to cover the distance pocketing the top spot,  with Mohammad Kashif Rather of Grade V finishing second just 2 seconds adrift of the ultimate winner.
Abaan Bilal Khan  of Grade  IV  had contend with the third spot, taking 8 minutes and 5 seconds to complete the run. Hakim Mansoom of Grade II and Mohammad Mutabba Hassan of  Grade I  stood 4th and 5th respectively.
The award ceremony was presented over by Chowdary Showkat, awarding the medals and consolation prizes to the winners
Siraj-ud-Din Bhat expressed his desire to organize many more outdoor programmes for all-round development of students. The Principal hoped that similar other programmes shall be organized by the school in the near future.
On behalf of the Chairman Chowdhary Group and the Administration of Hattrick Public School, the Physical Instructor Sayima Rashid  thanked the District Commissioner Srinagar and S.S.P (Traffic) Srinagar and the Traffic Police Personnel for their cooperation in making the run smooth and successful.
