SRINAGAR: J&K Bank share Wednesday recorded an all time high by raising more than 4 percent to Rs 1750 on NSE and Rs 1744 on BSE.
The stock increased in value by Rs 84 on Bombay Stock Exchange and Rs 70 on National Stock Exchange after settling down at 1744.50 on BSE and Rs 1734.90 on NSE when the markets closed.
While majority of the shares, around 81,749 were traded at National Stock Exchange, 8,627 shares were also traded on Asia’s oldest stock exchange, Bombay Stock Exchange.
During the first 9 days of current financial year, the bank’s shares have appreciated by around Rs 200 each.
Indian stock market on Wednesday witnessed huge surge with both the benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty Fifty gained record high.
The BSE Sensex rose as much as 1.77 percent to an all-time high of 22,740.04, surpassing its previous lifetime high hit on April 3. The Nifty rose as much as 1.7 percent to a record high of 6,808.70.
The Sensex ended 1.61 percent higher, while the broader Nifty closed 1.51 percent up, marking their record closing highs as well.
