Zaffer pays tributes to Maqbool Illahi on anniversary

Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) chairman Zaffer Akber Bhat on Tuesday paid rich tributes to former Hizbul Mujahideen commander Mohammad Maqbool Illahi on his 21st death anniversary.
Bhat in a statement also paid tributes to other slain commanders Jawar Hayat, Jaffer Jabali, Zaffer Ahmad, Hamzeh Chacha and Abu Tariq on their anniversaries and reaffirmed to “continue the movement of martyrs till it reaches to its logical conclusion.”
“In the ongoing movement every Kashmiri citizen whether he was a doctor, engineer, philosopher, academician, intellectual or businessman has laid down the sacrifices which we can’t underestimate,” Bhat said.
Criticizing Pro-Indian politicians and parties for “dancing on the tunes of New Delhi,” Bhat said that these parties and politicians “are merchandizing the blood of our martyrs and are getting power in return.”
