Property worth lakhs gutted in fire incidents

Srinagar: Property worth lakhs of rupees was damaged in separate fire incidents in the Kashmir valley, police said Sunday.
Fire broke out in a three- storied building belonging to Mohammad Amin Taka at Nowpora, resulting in damage to the building and a shop belonging to Nazir Ahmad Wani, a police spokesman said.
The cause of fire was not immediately known, the spokesman said, adding no one was injured.
Fire also damaged partially a house and other household property at Palpora Noorbagh in the downtown city, the spokesman said.
