BARAMULLA: Attendants at District Hospital Baramulla have complained about shortage of medicines, including some common palliative drugs.
The hospital is currently running short of Paracetamol, as staffers at the pharmacy operated within the hospital claim that the drug has exhausted some three months ago.
Some other low cost and commonly used drugs are also unavailable in the hospital stock forcing the patients to purchase them from open market.
Meanwhile, Medical Superintendent at the hospital Dr Bashir Ahmad said that the hospital administration was trying to make every kind of medicine available at the hospital.
“I will see if there is any shortage of drugs. They will be made available in few days,” he said.
