New Delhi: Training his guns on Narendra Modi, National Conference president Farooq Abdullah Tuesday accused him of being a “dictator” and thinking only of “self promotion and not the country.”
“He (Modi) can make his party President (Rajnath Singh) bow and yesterday’s tweets explain that completely. His autocratic way of functioning will harm the BJP as well as the country,” Abdullah who will be contesting from Srinagar Parliamentary seat said.
He was referring to the tweets of Rajnath yesterday, “Time For Change, Time For BJP. Abki Baar, Bhajapa Sarkar (This time BJP government)” which was changed in 33 minutes to “Ab Ki Baar, Modi Sarkar (Time for a Modi government).”
Farooq said that Modi was being supported by RSS. “I don’t think that my party will accept Modi and I can only hope that secular India will not go the communal way,” he said.— PTI
