SRINAGAR: Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Mohammad Yasin Malik on Tuesday announced a series of programmes to commemorate death anniversaries of JKLF ideologues Advocate Jalil Andrabi, Ishfaq Majid Wani, Dr Abdul Ahad Guru and the others killed at Dargah Hazratbal.
“On March 27, Qur’an khawani will be held at JKLF head office Maqbool Manzil and at all other district offices of the party to commemorate Shaheed-i-Insaf Advocate Jaleel Andrabi. On March 30, a condolence meeting will be held at Martyrs’ Graveyard Eidgah at 10 am for Shaheed-i-Kashmir Ishfaq Majeed Wani, Shaheed-i-Sadaqat Shabir Ahmad Sidiqi and others who laid down their lives at Dargah Hazratbal,” Malik said in a statement here.
“On April 1, Hameed Blood Bank will organize a blood donation camp at 10.30 am at Abi Guzar here to commemorate Shaheed-i-Hikmat Dr Abdul Ahad Guru. JKLF leaders and well wishers will donate blood on the day,” Malik said.
“The sacrifices of martyrs is Kashmiris’ treasure and no Kashmiri can forget them,” he added.
