Paramedical students hold anti-GMC protest

Srinagar: Paramedical students from various private colleges and government-run Ancillary Medical Training (AMT) School on Saturday staged protests over denial of reevaluation of their answer papers in the recently held examination.
A group of students who gathered at Press Enclave here shouted slogans against the authorities of Government Medical College Srinagar. They said the pass percentage in the recently declared result is very low and that they wanted reevaluation and photocopies of their answer books but have been denied the same.
“Adding insult to the injury, the GMC authorities are questioning our selection in the colleges,” the students said.
They sought the intervention of Health and Medical Education Department to redress their grievances.
