A truck bearing registration No. PB13N/2695 carrying goods from this side of Kashmir after receiving clearance at Salamabad Trade Center, marched towards the LoC but the checking squad of Indian Army near the Kaman Post, Zero Point LoC recovered three bags of blue stone weighing about 60 KG from the truck, which were not mentioned in the chalan and other documents required for crossing the LoC and sent it back to TFC, Salamabad, he said.
Rather said though precious stones are among tradable items and can be sent across LoC by traders but as they were not mentioned in the chalan and documents so the truck was stopped from going ahead.
He said the investigations are going on and truck driver and trader have been asked for an explanation, why they have not mentioned the stones in the chalan.
