AJKCPA holds protest against ‘fake’ certificate row in JKCA

SRINAGAR: All Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Players Association (AJKCPA) Monday held a protest against the alleged fake certificate row at Press Enclave here.
The protesters alleged that fake certificate was issued by the JKCA officials in the year 1995 in favor of the kin of present Treasurer of the association. The  protesters were holding play cards “punish the criminals.”
There were media reports that during the period of 90’s Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association, the custodian of the game in the state had issued a number of ‘fake’ certificates to a number of beneficiaries for availing admissions in professional colleges.
“Majority of the certificates were issued to kith and kin of the Association officials,” the report had alleged.
