SRINAGAR: Hurriyat Conference (G) Sunday said that the condition of its chairman, Syed Ali Geelani was improving and that his chest infection was decreasing very fast.
“Doctors have advised him to undergo gastroenterological consultation so that further investigations could be done,” a statement issued by the amalgam spokesman said.
“Geelani Sahab is completely under the observation of doctors and his health is improving considerably,” the statement said, adding “On the evening of March 9, doctors conduct his checkup and expressed their satisfaction over his condition.”
“Doctors also advised him some medical tests regarding his stomach and digestion so that they can have a detailed checkup,” it added.
The statement said that doctors have advised Geelani against meeting people to avoid possibilities of infection.
“So we humbly request the people that they are welcome here but they should not insist on meeting Geelani Sahab,” the statement said.
