JKLF, HCJK leaders visit Geelani, enquire about his health

Srinagar: A JKLF delegation led by the party chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik on Saturday visited the residence of Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani.
The JKLF delegation which included Noor Mohammad Kalwal and Mohammad Altaf Khan enquired about Geelani’s health, reports said.
Also, a delegation of Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir (HCJK) led by Shabir Ahmad Shah visited the residence of Geelani to enquire about his health.
Besides Shah, the delegation included Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Muhammad Yusuf Naqash, Moulana Mohammad Abdullah Taari, Molvi Bashir Ahmad and Muhammad Yasin Ataai, a statement issued by HCJK said.
The statement said that Shah while expressing grief over the ailing health of Geelani and his continuous house arrest said, “Keeping the veteran leader under house arrest is severely affecting his health condition.”
Shah termed Geelani as “voice of oppressed Kashmiri nation” and prayed for his early recovery. He also urged people to pray for him.
The delegation also visited Soibug where they expressed solidarity with the bereaved family of Hizbul Mujahideen chief, Syed Salahuddin, on the demise of his elder brother, Ghulam Nabi Shah.
