Srinagar: Terming the decision of Uttar Pradesh police to book Kashmiri students for sedition charges for celebrating Pakistan’s victory in a cricket match against India as draconian and horrible, Awami Ittihaad Party (AIP)said it was another black spot on the democratic and secular credentials of India .
“For cheering their  favourite sports team, Kashmiri students have been harassed all over the country,” AIP chairman  Engineer Abdul Rashid said in a statement here
Rashid threatened to launch a state- wide agitation if the sedition charges against valley students are not immediately withdrawn.
