JKLF, Hurriyat (M) pay tributes to Tahir Sofi

SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir liberation Front (JKLF) chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik paid rich tributes to Tahir Rasool Sofi of Baramullah who was slain by forces in 2013.
In a statement, Malik said that “martyr Tahir was an emerging scholar.” He also said that “the sacred blood of these martyrs will not go in vain.”
The statement said that a delegation of JKLF led by zonal president Noor Mohammad Kalwal visited the residence of the slain youth and participated in the condolence meeting.
According to the statement, the delegation, including senior leaders Showkat Ahmad Bakshi, M Sideeq Shah, GM Dar, Abdul Rashid Magloo (district president Barmullah), Farooq Ahmad Dar, Maulana Reyaz Ahmad and Ghulam Qadir Khan, also expressed solidarity with his bereaved family.
A delegation of Hurriyat Conference (M) led by Zaffer Akbar Bhat visited Baramulla “to pay tributes to Shaheed Tahir Rasool Sofi on his first martyrdom anniversary.”
The statement said that Bhat was accompanied by Molvi Rashid, Molvi Mushtaq Ahmad, Mohammad Shafi Kashmiri, Farooq Ahmed, Mushtaq Ahmed, Shabir Ahmed and others.
