Axis Bank opens branch in Parimpora

SRINGAR: Axis Bank, a private sector bank, inaugurated its 23rd branch in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday at  Fruit Mandi, Parimpora here, a company spokesperson said.
The branch was inaugurated by Town President, Ashraf Bhat and the ATM was inaugurated by president Fruit Growers Association, Hilal Mandu. On the occasion senior officials of the bank Jairam, President Consumer Lending, Shrikant Gupta, Circle Head, and Shabir Khan, Cluster Head, J&K were also present.
Hilal Mandu while addressing the gathering told that Axis Bank is one of the best banks in India and will  definitely give boost to the local economy and people will enjoy modern banking facilities. Jairam while addressing the gathering told that by the end of financial year 2014 the branch network will cross 50 branches and the bank will be offering more retail asset products. Shabir Khan in his speech said that the branch will offer every banking product, be it savings account, current account, demat account, lockers and all types of investment products, agricultural loans, auto loans, home loans and all variants of Debit and Credit Cards.
