Govt committed to promote entrepreneurship: Minister

JAMMU: Maintaining that the government is committed to provide training in various skills to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir so that they can setup their own entrepreneurial units, the MoS Technical Education, Vikar Rasool has said that the same would go a long way in addressing the unemployment problem.
The minister, according to an official spokesperson, was interacting with students after flagging off 216 students belonging to different areas of Gool, Mendhar and Poonch areas to different states for imparting various skills of different trades to them under skill development for youth programme.
Director technical education Jammu, JP Singh and other senior officers of the department were present on the occasion.
These youth are been sent to the different States wherein they would be trained in different technical fields, so that they can setup their own entrepreneurial units and also get absorbed in different sectors of the corporate field. Till date thousands of students have been sent to different parts of India and also various corporate houses, the statement.
