Aryans selects 23 Valley students for scholarship

SRINAGAR: Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh has selected 23 Kashmiri students for scholarship during its two-day admission-counseling program, a group spokesperson said on Friday.
“The two-day counseling, which concluded on Friday received overwhelming response besides 212 students participated in merit cum means scholarship of the Aryans Group,” the spokesperson said.
Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges said there is a special chance for those 24000+ JK students who got reappear in +2 exams in 2014. He said all those students who have reappear in one subject, can take admission on the basis of merit in other passed subjects. These students have to clear their reappear exam before September.
He also told that around 125 J&K students have taken admission in January Batch of Aryans in various courses like B Tech 1st Year (Civil, Mechanical, CSE, EEE & ECE), B.Tech (LEET) , M.Tech (Civil, Mechanical), MBA,PGDM, BBA, BCA, B.Ed,+1(Non-Medical) etc. He added that with this, Aryans has topped the list of Colleges in Punjab having highest number of admissions in January Batch 2014. He further said that many JK students have also registered their seats for July-2014.
