BHADARWAH:  Rehbar-i-Taleem Teachers Forum, district Doda, Wednesday held a meeting at district headquarters with district president Sajad Malik in chair.
In a statement, the ReT’s said that the meeting, which highlighted the problems and genuine demands of the fraternity, was attended by all the zonal presidents and apex body members from the district.
The teachers later submitted a memorandum of demands to Chief Education Officer, Mohammad Ashraf Rather, and discussed some local level problems with him.
The statement said that the officer assured the deputation for early consideration of genuine demands which included formation of service books of regularized RET teachers; release of their pending arrears w.e.f 26.06.2013; releasing regular salary of newly regularized RET teachers; provision of PRAN cards in transparent manner; and release of pending arrears of regularized RET teachers in various zones of district Doda especially Gundna and Assar zone.
The forum also appraised the officer about the general demands like inclusion of five year rendered service of RET teachers in their service record for promotional benefits; implementation of government order no. 115 Edu of 2008 for old pension scheme in favour of those appointed before 01:01:2010; formation of a suitable transfer policy in favour of regularized RET teachers and provision of SRO 43.
