JAMMU: The proposal of engaging one salesman and one helper for each sale outlet of CAPD Department is under consideration of the government, the CAPD Minister Chaudhary Mohammad Ramzan said on Tuesday.
He also said due consideration will be given to the private dealers, if they meet the eligibility criteria.
The minister was replying to a question by Bashir Ahmad Magray in Legislative Council.
The minister said that the government has engaged some educated youth as private dealers in CAPD since long in the state, however, no engagement has been made by the department for last more than four years.
The minister said that the department is compensating them with commission at the rate of 5 percent of the sale value of food grains.
