SRINAGAR: A three day Archery Tournament under Civic Action Programme organised by District Police Kargil begin on Sunday at Khree Sultan Choo Sports Stadium Bemathang .
On the inaugural function Executive Councilor of Ladakh Hill Development Council, Kargil, Sheikh Hussain Rayesi was Chief Guest. While addressing on the inaugural ceremony, Rayesi appreciated the role of J&K police for promoting the sports activities in Kargil.
He further said that by organizing such kind activities it will help police to make better relationship with public at grass root level.
More than 70 teams from various villages of Kargil are participating in this three day event which is held under the supervision of senior Superintendent of Police Kargil,  Sujit Kumar.
Addl SP Kargil, Mohammed Younis Bhat, Dy SP Headquarters, Abdul Khaliq and various District Officer and large number of public were also present on the occasion.
