JAMMU: JK Warrior beat JK Bank in the finals of 4th Rajiv Gandhi Gold cup football tournament Sunday played at Jammu.
In the event 21 teams from within and outside the State has participating in the tournament
Minister for Medical Education, Youth Services and Sports Taj Mohi-ud-Din distributed prizes among the winners
Addressing the concluding function, the Minister said that the promotion of sports was important for the society adding that development of sports infrastructure is prime goal for the government. He said in this regard various initiatives has already been taken to develop and upgrade sports infrastructure in the.
He said various stadia and playgrounds have already been developed on modern lines for providing better sports facilities to the youth.
Earlier, the Minister met the players of the both the teams and wished them well.
