BMW launches locally made Rs 43 lakh Gran Turismo in India

SRINAGAR: BMW has launched the all-new BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo in India, a company spokesperson said on Wednesday.
Locally produced at the BMW Plant Chennai, the all-new BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo will be available at BMW dealerships across India from March 2014.
Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India said, “A revolutionary concept, the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, combines the sporty yet elegant character of a coupe with high functionality and impressively versatile interior. With countless innovations and thoughtful details, the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo presents a new stylistic assurance around the use of space, boasts a distinctive presence on the road and offers similarly pronounced driving pleasure.”
An unrivalled symbiosis of form and space in the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo creates a unique look and makes a powerful impression. It unites the best of both worlds: an embodiment of pure dynamism and a sense of spaciousness. The all-new BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo will be available in a diesel variant (the BMW 320d Gran Turismo) at an all India ex-showroom price of Rs 42,75,000, the statement said.
