Incentives and concessions

Insurance Scheme for Sarpanchs and Panches in place at premium of Rs 63.44  lakh.
20 crore provision for creation of additional 1000 Anganwadi Centers  in a phased manner.
25 crore for regularisation of Rehbar-e-Zirat.
Provision of  3 crore for marriage of orphan girls belonging to a BPL family.
Beti Anmol benefit to be increased from Rs 5000 to Rs 10000 and its coverage extended to all Blocks.
Tourism incentive package expiring on 31st December, 2014 to be extended upto March, 2015. Exemption from the Hotel Tariff Tax on the room rent collected by hoteliers also extended to March 2015.
Stamp Duty exemption on KCC loans  increased from Rs 1.50 lakh to
Rs 3 lakh, also on Artiisan Credit Cards.
VAT remission for industry to continue for another year.
Cashless system of VAT remission on purchases of raw material made from SICOP adopted from the next year.
VAT exemption on atta, maida, besan,  etc to continue upto March, 2015.
VAT exemption on bee wax, oil cake, bone meal.
Toll exemption on ‘tootee basmati export, on import of husks of pulses, wheat and rice bran, weight containers.
Imported shawls to attract reduced VAT at 5 percent instead of existing 13.5 percent. Local handmade shawls to remains exempted.
Audit limit of turn over for filing of VAT returns increased from Rs 60 lakh to Rs One crore due after from April 2014. While threshold limit for small delalers exempted from VAT and filing returns increased from  7.5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. Turnover Tax (TOT) limit increased to Rs 25 lakh.
War Veterans to get Rs 3000 per month instead of Rs 1500 per month.
Rs 1.40 crore for HIV/AIDS cases and Rs 2 crore for the Cancer Treatment and Management Fund.
