U-17 National Football Championship

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir U-17 football team Thursday started their U-17 National Football Championship campaign with a goalless draw against Delhi played Agartala.
The draw meant teams had to share the points.
It was the visitors who created early chances in the first half and put pressure on their opponents but failed to convert them into goals. And, both teams played some aggressive soccer in the second half as well but had nothing to show off in the goals’ column as the game ended with the scoreline 0-0.
In its second encounter J&K will lock horns against West Bengal in the morning session and later in the day they will battle it out against Chhattisgarh.
J&K have to win both the matches in order to qualify for the quarter finals.
