Definitely, it is a massive game for us and whole state. We are up for it and are in that nothing to lose zone. Pressure will be on Punjab to win because they are a far superior side than ours, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t ready for the challenge. We have plans for all their big guns and have the entire arsenal to down. We will play aggressive brand of cricket and won’t shy away from giving everything.
They are a terrific side and someone like Yuvraj and Harbhajan can turn any game on its head but we are playing as a unit and almost every player is in form and eager to make an impression at this stage.
We have played lot of cricket against Punjab and know their players’ weaknesses and strengths very well which could help us in working them out.
Parvez Rasool, skipper J&K

We have to keep everything simple and focus on basics. Pressure will be on Punjab to perform. We will play fearless and positive cricket. Wicket appears to be good for fast bowling and I reckon it would help spinners much. But they have a good pace attack who can do the trick for them. We are ready for the game and will make sure we give everything for this all important contest.
Samiullah Beigh, pacer J&K

Never have I seen team charged up as they are right now. They want to win this tie and bring laurels to the state. We have done our homework and are hopeful that boys will play to their potential. The game means a lot us and to play a strong side like Punjab isn’t going to be easy. We will play to our strengths and won’t be too fussed by the might of our opponents.
Abdul Qayoom Bagaw, coach J&K

I would like to perform in this game so that it helps team to win the game. I am in good form and am eager to score runs in this all important fixture. This is a massive moment for us and we are upbeat to defeat Punjab.
