Two persons have reportedly consumed some poisonous substance in Awantipora and Sopore.

According  to a police statement, an 18 years old girl (name withheld) and resident of Khrew reportedly consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was immediately rushed to SHMS Hospital Srinagar for treatment.

Meanwhile, a 23 years old lady (name withheld) and a resident of Darsoo, Rafiabad also reportedly consumed some poisonous substance at Chinkpora, Sopore. The lady was immediately shifted to  Sub District Hospital Sopore for treatment. Police has registered two separate cases regarding these suicide attempts.
